You hurt your own body because of the guilt you feel caused by an eating disorder
Concepto
I've seen this happen up close and I've never heard a song about it. There are people who feel guilt after eating and settle that guilt on their own body. It goes unnamed almost everywhere: in medicine it falls between two separate diagnoses, and in music it doesn't fit any of the usual ways of writing about pain, so it stays invisible. The song is written in the second person so that it accuses nobody. It's the voice that shows up afterwards, the one that keeps the accounts and decides what's owed. Nothing else is in there. It exists to say this one thing.
Proceso
We recorded the guitars with a Marshall and tried to keep the takes as long and natural as posible. Same with the bass but plugged in line. The vocals are three recordings of the same lines. This song needed a raw production.
